I came to EV nail salon about a year ago and overall despite being asked to wait 40min after my scheduled appointment time and getting my toes nicked and bleeding a bit, I gave a good review because the technician was very kind and gave a great manicure and pedicure. I came back again recently and had a disappointing experience. I showed up a few minutes early to my appointment and it looked like the nail technician (there’s only one) was just about to start an appointment with another client, even though I had made my appointment weeks in advance. The nail technician paced back and forth for about 5 minutes while on her phone, before telling the other client that she would have to wait until my appointment was finished, since I had a reservation. Throughout the appointment the nail tech was constantly on her phone. There were times I was just sitting, waiting for her to finish messaging other clients before continuing. My appointment went on much longer than it should have (more than 90 minutes for just a basic manicure and pedicure) and the majority of my appointment was spent watching the nail tech message other people. Every time she started working on my nails again, it was rushed and felt haphazard. She also nicked my toes again, twice, and they bled. I know that running a business alone as a woman is tough, but I don’t want to pay full price for a less than quality manicure and pedicure and overall a disappointing experience.
