I love visiting cafes and consider myself quite particular when it comes to quality. I was satisfied with both the coffee and cake. However, the service was absolutely terrible.
I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but I felt too intimidated to give direct feedback to the staff(w. pink hair) as she made me feel like an unwelcome guest and responded to a few simple questions as if she was really annoyed.. It’s unfortunate because the coffee and cake were excellent, but the overall experience could have been better.

The flavours of their special Mandarin Orange Chocolate Cake blends very well together, combining the buttery texture of the orange cake, the smooth cream and the rich chocolate taste, the flavours of this cake is very unique. The incorporation of the cherry also balances out the cake nicely
The flavours of their coffee is rich and unique plus it gives off a authentic Australian Melbourne feel.
The cafe also has a welcoming and cosy atmosphere and is definitely one of the most unique ones in Singapore
Additionally I was extremely lucky to meet the owner today! She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. The ingredients are also high quality and would definitely recommend coming here as it is worth every penny

Great place for coffee and cakes with a friend 😋 Loved the vibes and music playlist 🎶 The olive oil chocolate cake is so good and moist, excellent choc quality! Can be requested for it to be warmed up as well. Will definitely come again to try other bakes 😊

Excellent variety of cakes and very good quality coffee - A must try for chocolate lovers is the olive oil chocolate cake, both delicious warmed and also just as it is! Will definitely return to try other cakes such as the strawberry shortcake in future 😋

The banana bread was really nice, soft, crumbly, and not too sweet. Banana flavor was just right. Tasted nutty as well! Very comforting treat.
The Black Forest chocolate cake was delicious. The cherry and chocolate flavors worked really well together, the cherries added a nice tartness that balanced the rich chocolate. It wasn’t too sweet, just really tasty and satisfying.
Both paired so well with a cold glass of long black, the coffee brought out all the flavors without overpowering them. A perfect combo.
Overall, cafe atmosphere was very cozy & chill, with soft lights and fun decor. It’s a nice spot to relax and enjoy your coffee!

Stumbled upon this cafe, although it may appear petite from the outside it is surprisingly spacious and cozy inside. Its pink walls with a welcoming glow, scent of the freshly brewed coffee with the sweetness of the pastries, truly an essential stop for anyone in the area.
I hands down recommend their strawberry cream cake. The airy texture of the cake complements the cream's smoothness, making every bite feel indulgent yet refreshing. The sweetness is just nice.

The Lemon Pistachio Cake was such a lovely surprise—light, fluffy, and just the right amount of flavour without being too sweet. Paired with their signature Melbourne specialty coffee, which was smooth, aromatic, and expertly brewed—it’s clear the coffee is the star here. Together, they made for a comforting and memorable treat.

Tried the Mandarin Orange cake at Café Cartisan and was pleasantly surprised! The cake was beautifully balanced—not overly sweet—which paired perfectly with the generous layer of rich chocolate. The fresh, juicy fruits added a lovely burst of flavour that complemented the cake so well. A delightful treat overall. Nice job, Cartisan! 🙂 …

Initially walked past this cafe and was amazed by how beautifully cozy and thoughtfully styled the space was. I decided to give it a try after a long day at work—and the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by the warm, comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The whole place had such a calm and inviting vibe. Definitely super Instagrammable too!
I ordered the Mandarin Orange Chocolate cake and absolutely loved how light, moist, and well-balanced it was. The flavours of orange and chocolate paired so nicely, and the generous layers of cream and cherries made it extra indulgent. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care that went into making it.
Their specialty coffee, made with so much heart, had that smooth richness and aroma you'd expect from a proper Melbourne brew. One of the best coffees in the East, I must say—really. Every sip was just comforting and satisfying.
I was also lucky enough to meet the lovely owner, who personally prepared the food and shared her knowledge about coffee and the café journey. She was so warm and genuine, and even took time to recommend a few of their signature items.
Highly recommend this charming hidden gem in the East. A spot where great coffee, delicious bakes, and thoughtful hospitality come together beautifully. 💗
