The big size is real big. Taste is good too. Crispy sweet n sour pork. Flavourful seafood beancurd vege claypot. Tender hotplate ginger onion beef slice. Signature fried chicken wing. Enjoy...

Food is delicious, occasionally come here for family gatherings. Do come early or make bookings to avoid overcrowding. Place can be be warm sometimes even though there is aircon.

Liked the prawn paste chicken wings and steamed fish the most. The other dishes were good as well. The place is quite crowded.

Chilli crab here is good - sauce is eggy, tangy, has bits of dried shrimp, most importantly not too sweet, and the crab was solid. Just the 3 of us today, so didn’t order much, but suffice to conclude that we’ll definitely be back.

A place suitable for family dinning, big tables to let everyone seat comfortably.. when you order Large, portion is really generously Large 😄. Speed of serving the foods are fast even though it's full house. Quality of food is generally good, most items tasted well without much to grumble. Sweet and sour pork will be good if there is more crispiness.. crab soup bee hoon doesn't have much crab taste in the soup, but still ok as bee hoon soup. Overall, staff are courteous and service are great. Prices are very reasonable for what you get.

Been here a few times and liked the Chinese food here. Savory and tasty. We ordered the homemade tofu (very good), french bean w dried shrimps (very good), assam fish (best) and the black pepper crab (disappointed with the size). Overall food was good, fast service but crowded for a weekend night. No service charge and the prices for most items are friendly except for the crabs if that crab served to us was 800-900g, was $90.

HongKong Street Family Restaurant @ East Village, Bedok Tucked away in East Village, Bedok, HongKong Street Family Restaurant offers a comfortable dining environment with its clean, air-conditioned setting that makes for a pleasant escape from the humid Singapore heat. The ambience is cozy and family-friendly—ideal for casual meals or small group gatherings. Service-wise, the restaurant earns points for its polite and attentive staff, who maintain a warm and courteous attitude throughout the meal. Orders are taken promptly, and food is served without much delay, which adds to the overall smooth dining experience. When it comes to the food, however, expectations should be tempered. The menu offers typical local zi char fare that’s neither disappointing nor exceptional. Dishes are average in taste, comparable to what you’d find at most neighborhood Chinese eateries. There’s nothing particularly memorable or standout in flavor, though everything is cooked decently. One drawback is the price point, which feels noticeably steeper than the food quality justifies. While the restaurant presents itself as a family dining spot, the pricing leans more toward mid-range dining without offering the culinary experience to match. Verdict: ✔️ Comfortable setting ✔️ Friendly service ❌ Average food ❌ Overpriced for what it offers If you’re in the area and value ambience and service, it may still be worth a visit—but for food alone, better value can be found elsewhere.

Strategic location in the east for affordable and decent foods. Comfortable ambience with big tables and space both indoor AC and outdoor. Tried their curry fish head, lala, and veg and eggs. Enough wok hey and will definitely come back when around this area. They accept cash and cashless payments. Convenient and attentive staffs to make this place great. Their lunch closes at 230pm, so be there early for ample time to enjoy their delicious foods.

Reasonable price! The prawn paste chicken is very nice. It well marinated, the coffee pork ribs also very tasty. Can taste the strong coffee taste and smell good! The slide fish hor fun is amazing! looks plain yet delicious! The pumpkin tofu is really very smooth. It can just melt in your mouth! Yam in the basket is good. Not very oily the skin is crispy yet the yam inside is smooth and fine. Anyway the barley drink is nice too!
