A precious gem with food and hospitality that truly stand out! The chef’s wife was incredibly patient and attentive, taking the time to understand our preferences before making spot-on recommendations. The result? One of the most satisfying and delicious dinners we’ve ever had. The meat was tender and juicy, and the pork ribs and schnitzel were hands-down the best in town. This is a family-run restaurant where you can taste the love in every dish and feel the warmth in every interaction. Exceptional cooking and genuinely friendly service — highly recommended!

The food there was tasty and well seasoned. The food took quite some time to arrive and so did the drinks. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The fruit drinks were very fresh. The desserts were very tasty, especially the apricot tray which was warm and freshly made. Schnitzel house is an excellent place to go to eat and have fun with friends or family

Cozy, family-run Austrian diner serving really tasty, authentic grilled schnitzel with spaetzle, butter noodles or fries from Chef Wolfgang Ranner's kitchen. The more common breaded fried schnitzel is available too, and we always enjoy the delicious pastas, currywurst, Viennese coffee & desserts. The hosts' warm service & hospitality completes the dining experience. Highly recommend when looking for a hearty, satisfying meal.

I recently dined at Schitztnel Haus in Bedok and had an absolutely wonderful experience.Wolfgang and his wife truly make you feel like you’re at home.Their warm and welcoming atmosphere is something special. The food was exceptional.I had the Schnitzel Pork, and it was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was one of the best I’ve ever had!I’m already looking forward to my next visit, where I plan to try the Vienna Schnitzel and pair it with some Austrian wine. The lunch set is a fantastic deal, offering great value for the quality of the food.I can’t recommend it enough. I’ll definitely be back soon.If you’re looking for authentic Austrian cuisine in a cozy setting,Schitztnel Haus is the place to go. We made room for some apricot square cake dessert, i do recommend it

Only found out about this place recently and was very pleased because it is quite near to where I live and the schnitzel is as good as the ones in Vienna. The currywurst is also quite good. I'll come here whenever I have a craving for schnitzel.

Ever since we walked into Chef Wolfgang Ranner's cafe/eatery a few years ago, we have been enamoured with the quality of their food and service, and feel lucky to have him and his wife in our neighbourhood's dining scene. They are always so warm and welcoming. Schnitzels, bratwursts (previously on the menu) and Austrian cuisine in general are unique options. I have not been to Austria but often hear from other diners that the schnitzels are very authentic. They certainly taste great! Would highly recommend the spaetzle noodles as well! Everything is homemade with no MSG so while prices are not at food court levels, quality shines through in every bite. Our personal favourite is actually the oven-roasted chicken - crispy on the outside, tender with just the right amount of juices on the inside, and impeccably seasoned. Other very notable mentions include the ribs. the pasta and the beer. Sometimes their children help out and that just add to the friendly feel of a family establishment. During the Christmas holiday season, Chef Ranner's mulled wine is another must-have.

I’ve always had a soft spot for family-run restaurants, and this one—helmed by Austrian Master Chef Wolfgang Ranner—is truly special. They offer a wide selection of both traditional and innovative dishes, all reasonably priced for the quality you get. The casual, cozy setting is made even more inviting by the chef’s lovely wife, who warmly welcomes every guest with a genuine smile. She was attentive throughout our visit and, in a thoughtful gesture, brought a wet wipe when she noticed my son using his hands to eat the chicken. It was also heartening to see Chef Wolfgang personally making his rounds to chat with guests, and even helping his wife clear tables once he was done with his kitchen duties. Such dedication and teamwork were a delightful sight. I’ll definitely be back for more of their delicious food. This place has not only great flavors but a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
