If you’re craving authentic Thai cuisine that bursts with fresh, vibrant flavors, Great Thai is a solid choice worth trying. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by warm hospitality and an inviting setting that combines traditional Thai touches with a cozy, modern feel. The menu is diverse, offering well-loved classics like Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, and Green Curry — each dish prepared with care and an impressive balance of herbs and spices that reflect real Thai cooking. The ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are flavorful, with spice levels that can be adjusted to suit your preference. The Mango Sticky Rice is a highlight and a must-try if you have room for dessert. Portions are generous for the price, and the service is friendly and attentive overall. The only thing that keeps this from being a full 5-star experience is that during peak hours, the restaurant can get a bit crowded and noisy, and service may be slightly slower than expected. Still, the quality of the food and the warm atmosphere make it well worth the visit. If you’re in the mood for satisfying Thai food in a casual setting, Great Thai won’t disappoint. Recommended!

Really very dissappointed with the service and the food. I came at 6.38pm on 9/3 to great thai and make an order to the front counter and she place the order to the pos at 6.48pm. At about 7.06pm i went in to pay first and then the counter staff told the other staff in malay ‘they sure not this order sent to the back’ so the counter staff just told me after that, ‘the food will be a little late okay’ i get it it will be a little late. But that does not mean my food order was only done after settle all those dine in that come after my order. Its you guys fault for not sending the order to the kitchen, so you guys should still prioritize my order accordingly. Why do my order be done after settling the dine in orders who came and order after mine?? The staff told me that they were sorry because its full house, but i went in the restaurant there is at least 3-4 empty tables. What do you mean by full house. The tables outside were also empty. I waited there until 7.58pm then my food was ready. The one who came after me even have already finished their food and left the restaurant. The one big family food was also served when they came after me and they have already eaten and my food is not even ready. That is how sucks your service was! It is really dissapointed. And i paid for boneless fish but its seems like the fish i got is still with bones! So in that case i paid extra for what?! And as u can see in the picture what is so busy and what is fullhouse that you called for?

Recently, we had the pleasure of dining at this Thai restaurant, where the tom yum horfun immediately captivated my interest. Upon requesting a vegetarian version, the staff kindly accommodated my preference by replacing egg and tofu with the meat. What truly impressed me was when the waitress, after taking my order, promptly returned to inform me that the tom yum paste contained seafood. Although I was fine with it, I appreciated her sincerity and attention to detail. :P The tom yum horfun was a flavourful and light meal with clear soup and lots of veggies. The green Thai curry also proved to be a delightful dish. We were treated to a complimentary mango slushy, which was super refreshing with tiny ice granules and the rich mango flavor. :P The kampung or hawker-style ambiance added a unique charm to the overall dining experience. While the prices may be slightly higher than average, the quality of food, service, and atmosphere make it well worth a visit.

Food is reasonable, and value for money for the lunch set ( rice dish+ tomyum soup + drinks). The serving size is ok, although I do wish slight more basil chicken to go with my rice. The tomyum soup is too spicy for my liking, but the waitress told us we can order less spicy next time. Parking is easy during weekday lunch time, and good place for small group lunch in aircon place. Overall good experience, definitely will consider this place next time.

the food is awesome , i bought the tomyam horfun and it was savoury . only if they had added more shrimp because it’s really fresh ! i love how friendly the guy was when he brought us into the store and to our seats , he was very friendly and welcoming . the fair skin lady with tudung that served my table was friendly too , she carefully placed my meal infront of me despite the plate being hot . Well done to them, i recommend to dine here if you’re looking for affordable and savoury meals.

At the front of the East Village car park (so prominent, and easy access), this halal Thai eatery wasn't too busy on a Friday evening, and service was welcoming and friendly. Quite a large variety of food on offer, and we liked the papaya salad; quite a large helping for the price. The deep fried tofu was also pleasant, if a little bland for most, but came out last (supposed to be starter!). The pad thai was pretty good - perhaps not as good as the best in Thailand, but good, nonetheless. Prices were quite reasonable for Singapore standards. Will come back.

Ordered the lunch set for Chicken minced rice ,Thai Tom Yum and a side of fried squid. Highly recommend to get the thai tom yum has it tasted really creamy and delicious, they were also quite generous with the ingredients in the tom yum. Fried squid was crispy and fresh accompanied by the sweet chili sauce was a bomb. Would definitely get the tom yum and fried squid when I’m back here. Service was quite good as they are quick to respond when we requested for condiments. However, serving time may take around 10-15mins but is well worth the wait. Also note that it is a halal certified , so no pork options available here.

Cosy neighbourhood restaurant! Legit and authentic Thai food which happens to be halal as well, saw many families coming to eat. There's outdoor seating area and plenty of indoor seating area. Happen to be there with friends and decided to have Thai food. Must order the steamed fish with lemon, so so goood and I'm not a big steamed fish fan. The clear lemon based stock with the steamed fish - not very spicy is just heavenly and really hits the spot. Crab omelette is filled with crab meats fluffy and crispy. And Pandan fried chicken, papaya salad, 😋 it's all very flavourful and fresh. You can customise the level of spiciness for every dish, so it's very friendly for people like me who cannot take a lot of heat. Other Thai places tend to make their dishes oily, but Greathai isn't. Coconut shake is very refreshing for hot dishes. Service staff were very fast, polite and attentive. Definitely will want to come again. It's one of the few places in SG that has good Thai food
